Procurement & Supply Chain Lead

Location: India (Hybrid | Travel required)

Compensation: ₹40,000–₹50,000 per month + meaningful equity

Experience: 5–10 years

About the Role

We are building a premium, evidence-based mother & baby care brand. This is a founding, ownership-driven role for someone who can independently build and manage end-to-end procurement and supply chain operations across India and international markets (including China).

This role is for operators who don’t need hand-holding — you will design systems, own vendors, and drive cost, quality, and timelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end procurement across raw materials, finished goods, packaging, and consumables

• Source and manage suppliers across India and international markets (including China)

• Lead vendor discovery, negotiation, onboarding, and performance management

• Manage costing, landed cost analysis, MOQs, and margin optimization

• Coordinate quality control, inspections, and compliance (especially for maternal & baby products)

• Work with freight forwarders, customs agents, and logistics partners

• Build scalable systems for D2C, hospital supply, marketplaces, and quick commerce

• Set up and manage inventory planning, reorder cycles, and supply forecasting

Must-Have Experience

• 5–10 years in procurement / sourcing / supply chain

• Hands-on experience with both Indian vendors and international sourcing (China experience strongly preferred)

• Understanding of Incoterms (FOB, CIF, EXW), freight modes, and customs processes

• Proven ability to manage vendors independently and resolve quality or delivery issues

• Comfortable with travel and on-ground supplier coordination
