Job Title: Procurement / Supply Chain Manager
Location: Hamriyah Free Zone, Sharjah

Educational Qualifications & Experience:

• Diploma or degree from a recognized university.
• 3-5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the Oil & Gas sector.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Strong organizational and leadership abilities.
• Knowledge of problem-solving techniques is a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of Inventory control and data management on ERP/ Oracle

Technical & Administrative Skills:

• Effective communication across departments, with customers and vendors.
• Ability to respond promptly to departmental needs with a focus on customer service.
• Strong documentation, analytical, and process improvement skills.
• Team player who adapts positively to changes in policies, procedures, and work environments.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

• Execute purchasing activities according to company procedures.
• Assist Operations Manager in daily operations.
• Evaluate and approve suppliers with Operations/QHSE Manager.
• Maintain approved supplier list and ensure only approved suppliers are used.
• Obtain quotations and manage purchasing contracts within budgetary requirements.
• Ensure timely deliveries and compliance with packaging, transport, import, and legal regulations.
• Manage purchasing information, documentation, and supplier rating systems.
• Optimize purchasing techniques and supplier performance.
• Manage assets, stock, and materials efficiently.
• Ensure adherence to Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental (QHSE) policies.
• Promote a culture of safety and environmental awareness.
• Attend Toolbox Talks, HSEQ meetings, and required training sessions.
• Report unsafe behaviors to supervisors or facility management.
