Product Data Analyst

Our Marine organization is a trusted provider of innovative solutions for the worldwide boating and boat building industry, and we recently expanded our scope to lead the boating industry into an electrified future. Product Data Analyst will be responsible for analyzing complex product, pricing, and competitor data to generate insights that guide product strategy, prioritization, and decision‑making. It involves developing dashboards, automating data pipelines, improving data quality, and supporting cross‑functional teams with clear, actionable analytics.

We are a journey of continuous growth – now looking for our next star – a passionate data analyst. This position reports to Sr. Product Manager and will work in Litchfield, IL.

General Responsibilities

• Conducting in-depth data analysis to inform product strategy and decision-making
• Developing and maintaining product KPIs and metrics dashboards
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to translate business questions into analytical frameworks
• Improving data quality and governance to ensure reliable and actionable insights
• Presenting complex data findings to stakeholders in clear, actionable formats
• Expand automated data pipelines (fitment, pricing, competitor monitoring)
• Developing pricing intelligence tools to obtain dynamic insights
• Integrate and analyze competitor fitment and pricing data
• Support product management team with actionable insights that drive prioritization and strategy
• Identify and implement workflow automations across Product Management
• Support Product Management data requests:
• Assist with organizing, cleaning, and structuring diagnostic data
• Document data sources, definitions, and logic
• Connect data to existing BI environments for exploratory use
• Ensure datasets are usable for future cross-functional work

SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS

The ideal candidate for this role will bring demonstrated success in Product Data Analysis and business intelligence software. Additionally, they will have acquired the following qualifications and experiences:

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Analytics, or related field
• Strong proficiency in Python (pandas, NumPy, web scraping, automation)
• Experience with SQL, ETL workflows, and data modeling
• Proficiency with BI tools such as Power BI
• Experience in marine, powersports, automotive, heavy equipment, or similar technical industries
• Familiarity with pricing analytics, competitive intelligence, or market research
• Experience handling diagnostic, telematics, or machine-generated data
