Product Data Specialist

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically-skilled E-commerce Data Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and uploading product information, pricing, and other data to our e-commerce platform. This role requires a combination of technical expertise in handling CSV files, a good understanding of HTML for product descriptions, and a meticulous approach to ensure data accuracy on our website.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, format, and manage product data using CSV files for bulk uploads.
• Upload and update product listings, including titles, descriptions, images, pricing, and inventory levels, on our e-commerce platform.
• Utilize basic HTML to format product descriptions and ensure a clean, user-friendly presentation on the front-end.
• Perform regular data quality checks to identify and correct errors or inconsistencies.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to data uploads or product display.
• Collaborate with the marketing and e-commerce teams to ensure product data is accurate, complete, and optimized for search and customer experience.
• Maintain and organize data files and documentation for future reference.

Qualifications and Skills

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology (IT), Computer Science, or a related field is required.
• Experience: Proven experience working with e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce, BigCommerce).
• Technical Skills:
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets, with advanced knowledge of formulas, VLOOKUP, and functions for manipulating data in CSV files.
• Solid understanding of basic HTML for formatting text and content.
• Familiarity with data upload processes and tools for e-commerce websites.
• Attention to Detail: Exceptional accuracy and a keen eye for detail are essential.
• Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with data scraping or data extraction tools.
• Basic understanding of SEO principles for product listings.
• Familiarity with image editing software for basic modifications.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From Rs55,000.00 per month
