Company Overview:

Khazna launched in 2020 with a mission to improve the financial well-being of the underbanked, who have little access to formal financial services by providing access to convenient, effective and secure smartphone-based financial services. Khazna has received the Central Bank of Egypt’s first prepaid card license and aims to become the go-to neobank for underbanked consumers across the Middle East. In the next phase of its journey, Khazna is looking to continue scaling up its operations in Egypt and to launch its operations in Saudi Arabia.

This is a fun stage in the company's lifecycle as the core foundation has been but it is still early enough to assume a ton of ownership and to help shape the future of the company and its success.

Job Summary:

We are looking to hire a talented Product Designer to create intuitive and engaging digital experiences. Your primary focus will be designing mobile product experiences, including user flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity UI, while collaborating closely with Product Managers, Engineers, and other Designers.

As a Product Designer, you should have a strong understanding of UX fundamentals, be proficient in Figma, and be able to communicate your design decisions effectively. Ultimately, you will help build functional and attractive product experiences that delight users and align with business goals.

Responsibilities:

• Design mobile product experiences including flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity UI.
• Translate product requirements into clear and usable design solutions.
• Support the design team in delivering high-quality product features.
• Work closely with Product Managers, Engineers, and Designers during feature development.
• Participate in design critiques and team discussions.
• Apply UX fundamentals and usability principles to improve the product experience.
• Incorporate feedback from research, product metrics, and stakeholders.
• Use and contribute to the design system to maintain consistency across the product.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Design, HCI, or a related field is preferred.
• 1–3 years as a Product Designer or UX/UI Designer in a product company.
• Experience designing mobile app interfaces and flows.
• Understanding of UX fundamentals and interaction design.
• Ability to clearly communicate design decisions.
• Proficiency in Figma.
• Experience working on consumer mobile applications is a plus.
• Exposure to fintech or financial products is a plus.
• Portfolio demonstrating problem solving and UX thinking is a plus.
