Your Role

The Stellarus Product and UX team defines and designs technology products, creating solutions for users across the spectrum of healthcare. The Product Designer, Consultant will report to the Director of UX Research & Product Design. In this role you will work with internal stakeholders and team members to design digital product solutions that solve and support our user’s needs, expectations, and pain points. Your Work

In this role, you will:

  • Lead a wide variety of projects from concept, discovery through production stages of the product lifecycle.

  • Utilize a wide range of skillset across the UX/UI spectrum –– from user research to wireframes to high-fidelity conceptual product prototypes

  • Define and scope UX sprints in collaboration with business, product and engineering teams

  • Help shape UX strategy for digital tools across a range of end-users

  • Design end-to-end product functionality that balances what a user wants, and what they don’t know they need

  • Design digital product protypes that are beautiful, usable and useful

  • Assist in the creation and maintenance of our design system (asset & pattern libraries), and collaborate with our Engineering Team on utilization of the design components

  • Tackle complex and often opaque problems, and help establish a process for solving them


Your Knowledge and Experience

  • Requires at least 8 years relevant UX, Product, Research or Design experience
  • Requires at least 2 years of experience digital product development lifecycle
  • Bachelor’s degree in design, or applicable field, a plus
  • Requires a portfolio to be submitted in application
  • Competency in any of the other design disciplines - User Research/User Testing, Visual Design, Motion Design, Human Factors Engineering; a big plus
  • Experience in the health or wellness industry, a plus
  • Experience on teams shipping digital product, a plus

Two Ways of Working:

  • Hybrid (Default): Work from a business unit-approved office at least two (2) times per month (for roles below Director-level) or once per week (for Director-level roles and above). Exceptions:

o Member-facing and approved out-of-state roles remain remote.

o Employees living more than 50 miles from their assigned offices are expected to work with their managers on a plan for periodic office visits.

o For employees with medical conditions that may impact their ability to work in-office, we are committed to engaging in an interactive process and providing reasonable accommodations to ensure their work environment is conducive to their success and well-being.

  • On-Site: Work from a business unit-approved office an average of four (4) or more days a week.

Physical Requirements:

Office Environment - roles involving part to full time schedule in Office Environment. Based in our physical offices and work from home office/deskwork - Activity level: Sedentary, frequency most of work day.
