About the Role:

• As a Product Designer, you’ll be responsible for defining, designing, researching, prototyping, and implementing new features as well as future iterations.
• We're looking for a designer who isn't afraid to jump in and explore new challenges.
• You have a balance of interaction design, visual design, and product thinking skills.
• You are customer obsessed, and research driven.
• You’re a natural collaborator and can work independently and in a team environment.

Job Title : Product Designer IV

Key Responsibilities:

• Understand capabilities and constraints of our device hardware and mobile OS platforms.
• Work creatively with product and engineering XFNs to deliver education experiences that are easy to understand and delightful to use for consumers.
• Work with content design, research and 40+ feature teams to design experiences across devices and various features
• Work with marketing team to incorporate design assets that are compatible with our partners’ and company’s brands.
• Rapidly iterate solutions based on customer, UXR and internal feedback.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in design or related field.
• 8+ years of industry experience designing software products.
• Deep experience in creating education experiences for consumer facing connected products and/or mobile apps.
• Experience in designing mobile OS (iOS and Android), non-mobile interfaces and understanding unique platform conventions.
• Experience working with design systems.
• Strong organizational and documentation skills to help manage design assets and maintain version control across all devices and 40+ features
• Experience working in a technical environment.
• Experience utilizing research and data to drive product strategy and decision making.
• A portfolio of work that demonstrates a breadth of user experience, interaction and strong visual design skills (Figma and After effects).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in design, or related field is preferred.
• 12+ years of industry experience designing software products.
• FAANG or Big Tech background preferred.

Location: California, Washington, Oregon [Remote from any of these locations in USA]

Salary Range: The salary for this position is between $187,200 – $260,000 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
