Job Description:

The Product Designer is responsible for creating intuitive and scalable user experiences across mobile and web platforms supporting the Giza Plateau visitor journey. The role focuses on designing seamless booking, location-based, and commerce experiences while ensuring consistency, usability, and alignment with business goals. Working closely with Product and Engineering, the designer delivers user-centered solutions that enhance engagement and optimize transactional flows.

Key Responsibilities:

Experience Architecture

• Design end-to-end user journeys across mobile and web platforms.
• Simplify complex transactional and booking flows.
• Create intuitive interaction models for location-based experiences.

Mobile-First Design

• Develop clear content presentation frameworks.
• Design monetization touchpoints and upsell flows.
• Ensure frictionless booking and checkout experiences.

Design Systems & Scalability

• Build and maintain scalable design systems.
• Ensure consistency across platforms.
• Define reusable UI components.
• Maintain alignment with brand identity.

Usability & Optimization

• Conduct usability testing.
• Identify friction points in transactional journeys.
• Iterate designs based on behavioral insights.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Product Design.
• Strong portfolio showcasing mobile-first digital products.
• Proven experience designing transactional, e-commerce, or booking systems.
• Demonstrated systems thinking approach to UX design.
• Proficiency in Figma or equivalent design and prototyping tools.
• Experience in travel, hospitality, entertainment, or commerce-focused products.
• Background in designing map-based or location-aware applications.
• Experience using analytics and user insights to drive design iteration and optimization.
• Strong systems thinking and structured problem-solving skills.
• Deep user empathy balanced with business and operational objectives.
• Ability to prioritize clarity and usability over unnecessary visual complexity.
• Excellent cross-functional collaboration and communication skills.
• Capability to design scalable solutions across platforms and products.
