Position: Product Development Manager – Headphones

Location: E-City, Hyderabad, Telangana

Experience: 5+ years of hands-on experience leading headphone or in-ear audio product development in a consumer electronics

Salary: 12LPA - 15LPA

Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Acoustical Engineering (or similar).

Job description:

⦁ Product Planning:

-Define and manage the product roadmap for different headphone types.

-Lead the product from idea to final launch.

⦁ Design & Engineering:

-Work with designers for comfortable and ergonomic designs.

-Coordinate with engineers to add features like ANC, Bluetooth, and high-res audio.

-Ensure durable and user-friendly mechanical design.

⦁ Sound & Performance:

-Choose and test drivers based on sound goals.

-Tune acoustics and refine sound quality.

-Run tests for performance, noise cancellation, and battery life.

⦁ Prototyping & Testing:

-Manage sample creation and mock-ups.

-Handle all types of product testing—drop, wear, moisture, and sound.

⦁ Manufacturing & Supply Chain:

-Work with vendors and factories for smooth production.

-Prepare BOMs and technical documents.

-Ensure parts and build quality are consistent.

⦁ Quality & Compliance:

-Perform safety and durability tests.

-Ensure products meet BIS, WPC, and other local standards.

-Set quality checks during production.

⦁ Team & Project Management:

-Lead and mentor a team of engineers.

-Manage timelines, budgets, and deliverables.

-Report progress and issues to leadership.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹1,200,000.00 - ₹1,500,000.00 per year
