Product Development Team Leader.Digital Entertainment

Job Purpose

Will work closely with the Senior Team Leader and the Commercial Product Development and Curation Manager to support product development initiatives and lead a team of product developers. This role requires a strong understanding of product development processes, excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Product Development: - Execute a strategic plan for the app's features and roadmap. - Supervise all tasks and activities related to the app's development, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards. - Lead efforts with cross-functional teams, including designers, developers, and content curators, to align efforts and streamline app development processes. - Conduct research and stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in the app industry, making recommendations to enhance the app's performance and user experience. - Analyze insights regarding user preferences, market trends and developments to inform product enhancements and features - Analyze user feedback and app performance data to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes. - Collaborate with marketing and business development teams to ensure the app's successful launch and ongoing growth. - Collaborate with UI/UX and design teams to ensure a seamless and intuitive user experience in content discovery and delivery Product & Features Partnerships: - Supervise existing vendors and ensure healthy relationships - Collaborate with 3rd party editorial teams to manage in house platforms and ensure constant monitoring - Lead discussions with vendors to manage product roadmap and timelines and ensure development is according to our standards - Coordinate with technical teams to ensure the successful delivery and display of content on the platforms - Collaborate with marketing teams to develop promotional campaigns based on curated content and personalized recommendations to drive user engagement and retention

QUALIFICATIONS_ESSENTIAL

Knowledge: - A bachelor's degree in a relevant field is preferred. - Previous experience in app development and support is a plus. - Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. - Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. - Proficient in using productivity tools and software related to app management. - Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. - Adaptability and willingness to learn and grow within the app development field. Education: A bachelor's degree in a relevant field of study is required Language Proficiency: - Proficiency in both English and Arabic languages is necessary for effective communication and collaboration. Problem Solving: - Proven ability to identify and analyze problems related to app development and find effective solutions. - Strong critical thinking skills to assess challenges and make informed decisions. - Demonstrated track record of troubleshooting and resolving issues that may arise during the app development process. Innovation: - A passion for innovation and staying up-to-date with the latest app trends and technologies. - Creative thinking skills to drive new ideas and features that enhance user experience and engagement. - Ability to explore and implement innovative strategies to ensure the app stands out in the market.
