Product Manager - Agri Business

Job Purpose / Summary:

The Product Manager (Agribusiness) will oversee the lifecycle of agricultural products, including

seeds, fertilizers, farming equipment, or Agri-tech solutions. They will collaborate with crossfunctional

teams to develop, market, and improve products, ensuring they align with farmers' needs,

industry trends, and organizational goals.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Portfolio growth and portfolio management on broad parameters

• Strategic analysis and facilitation such as new geography and product development / launches

• Product management - Query resolution, product amendment as per regulatory, statutory and

business needs

• Stipulation of internal processes as per regulatory requirements Compliance, Reporting Guideline

& overall supervision of various Audit Parameters both by internal and external stakeholders.

• Process Formulation & Optimization

• System Development & Management Any other tasks assigned from time to time

• Collaborate with R&D teams to create and enhance products tailored to agribusiness needs.

• Develop training materials and provide product knowledge to sales teams.

• Monitor product performance using sales data, customer feedback, and industry trends.

Experience / Skillset / Certifications Required:

Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Agriculture, Business Management.

Experience: Min 5 - 8 years of experience in product management / Product development, in

agribusiness of any reputed bank / NBFC.

Skills: Strong knowledge of agricultural products, markets, and trends.

Excellent project management and problem-solving skills.

Proactive and results-oriented mind-set.
