Job Purpose
Responsible for defining product strategies to maximize business impact, maintaining long-term strategies with periodic updates, ensuring adoption across stakeholders, and program managing the product lifecycle with upgrades as needed.
Roles & Responsibilities

Work with Business/ Product or product head on the devising the growth strategy for respective banking products.

Create a long-term strategic plan by identifying, evaluating, and prioritizing possibilities and tactical product investment opportunities through extensive analysis of value chain and external forces.

Key project/program management to manage initiatives in their infancy to ensure successful execution

Assist in implementing key strategic initiatives as prioritized by the bank.

Provide market and technology research and competitive analysis to progress product strategy.

Evaluate external trends spanning payments, industry verticals, and technology disruption with the goal of identifying emerging opportunities.

Complete an in-depth analysis of the direct and indirect competitive landscape and deliver recommendations spanning learn, build, and buy.

Develop robust business cases and strategic rationale for appropriate product investments.

Partner with product and banker leadership teams to prioritize product investments.

Develop insightful management reporting on the delivery and commercialization status of investments.

Work with the marketing team on customer communication for product promotion & regulatory requirements.

Partner with engineers, designers, marketing, customer operations, strategy and analytics teams to develop and deliver projects.
Secondary Responsibilities
-
Conducting knowledge sessions with all stakeholders to ensure product awareness & connect ensure continuous product improvement.

Provide training to branch / Channel and new on boarded teams as and when required.
Education
Graduation: Bachelor’s in engineering / Technology / Math’s / Commerce / Arts / Science / Biology / Business / Computers / Engineering / Management.
Post-graduation: MBA, PGDM.
Experience:
2-5 years of relevant banking experience.
