We are seeking a strategic, user-centered, and collaborative Product Owner to join our product organization. The successful candidate will act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and delivery teams, owning the product backlog, driving prioritized outcomes, and ensuring that features and releases deliver measurable customer and business value. This role requires strong product instincts, excellent stakeholder management, technical fluency, and experience working within agile delivery teams to translate strategy into executable work.
Own and continuously refine the product backlog, writing clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and prioritization rationale that balance customer impact, business value, technical effort, and risk.
Work closely with stakeholders (product management, design, engineering, data, security, and operations) to translate product strategy and business requirements into actionable backlog items and release plans.
Collaborate with Scrum Masters and engineering teams during sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog grooming, and reviews to ensure shared understanding and timely delivery of committed work.
Define and track product and feature-level KPIs—such as adoption, activation, retention, conversion, cycle time, and quality—to measure outcomes and inform prioritization decisions.
Facilitate discovery activities with UX/design and research partners, contribute to prototyping and user testing, and incorporate qualitative and quantitative feedback into backlog priorities.
Partner with data and analytics to design experiments, A/B tests, and instrumentation needed to validate hypotheses and drive data-informed iterations.
Prepare and present concise updates, sprint outcomes, and decision recommendations to stakeholders and leadership to maintain alignment and momentum.
Manage relationships with external vendors and third-party integrators as required; define scopes of work, acceptance criteria, and verify deliveries against expectations.
Champion accessibility, privacy, and security considerations in backlog planning and acceptance to ensure inclusive and compliant product experiences.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
3+ years of hands-on experience as a Product Owner, Technical Product Owner, or similar role working with agile delivery teams to ship digital products or features.
Proven ability to write clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and prioritize backlogs that deliver measurable outcomes.
Strong communication and facilitation skills; comfortable aligning cross-functional teams and translating complex topics into concise recommendations.
Technical fluency with cloud platforms, API-driven architectures, and modern delivery practices; able to partner effectively with engineering and data teams.
Experience using analytics, A/B testing, and user research to make data-driven decisions and iterate quickly.
Demonstrated ability to operate in ambiguous, fast-paced environments and influence without formal authority.
Experience working with Scrum, Kanban, or hybrid agile models and familiarity with product discovery techniques.
Knowledge of cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP), modern analytics stacks, CI/CD tooling, and integration patterns.
Prior experience managing vendor integrations, SLAs, and contract deliverables.
Understanding of accessibility standards, information security, and privacy frameworks relevant to product development.
Certifications such as CSPO, PSM, or training in product management, UX research, or experimentation are a plus.
Full-time role within a collaborative, cross-functional team; onsite presence is expected with flexible scheduling options as appropriate.
Competitive salary and benefits package commensurate with experience, including health coverage, retirement plan options, paid time off, and professional development support.
Opportunities for training, certifications, and career progression in an inclusive and mission-driven organization.
We are committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion and foster a respectful work environment that supports work-life balance and employee well-being.
