About the Role:

We are seeking a visionary Product Owner to pioneer our Modern Airline Retailing initiative and build groundbreaking solutions from concept to reality. In this role, you will lead the transformation of traditional airline distribution into next-generation offer and order management systems with global impact. You'll define product features that revolutionize how airlines worldwide create, distribute, and fulfill customer offers while collaborating with international industry bodies to shape emerging standards.

The ideal candidate has experience with either management consulting background or product management expertise, preferably in airline or retail sectors. Strong engineering mindset with business acumen is highly valued. This is a rare opportunity to drive innovation at the forefront of a major industry shift that will redefine the future of traveling.

This position will be

• Independently create and own the strategic agenda for our modern airline retailing transformation, proactively identifying priorities and driving execution with minimal supervision
• Champion the end-user perspective throughout the product development process, ensuring that technical solutions ultimately enhance the traveler experience while satisfying complex B2B airline industry requirements
• Lead the conceptualization and development of ground-breaking modern airline retailing solutions that transform traditional PNR/EMD systems into modern Offer/Order management platforms with global applicability
• Apply sophisticated strategic methodologies from management consulting to identify international market opportunities, conduct rigorous cross-regional industry research, and develop globally competitive product strategies
• Represent the company at international industry events and forums, delivering high-impact presentations to executive audiences and positioning our solutions effectively on the global stage
• Perform advanced quantitative analysis using consulting frameworks to prioritize features, validate business cases, and optimize product performance metrics across diverse market segments
• Develop robust user research methodologies that capture both end traveler needs and B2B partner requirements, creating solutions that balance both perspectives
• Navigate complex business requirements and emerging international standards, creating clarity and direction for development teams through structured issue trees and hypothesis-driven approaches
• Build truly innovative solutions from concept to reality ("from 0 to 1"), defining minimum viable products with scalability for global deployment
• Develop comprehensive go-to-market strategies for various airline segments worldwide based on deep competitive analysis of regional market needs
• Cultivate strong relationships with executive leadership, effectively managing upward to secure buy-in for strategic initiatives and ensure alignment with organizational objectives
• Collaborate with global industry bodies and key stakeholders to align product direction with emerging standards and worldwide industry needs
• Create sophisticated frameworks and analytical models that drive data-informed decision making in an evolving global market landscape

How do we describe the perfect match?

• 5-8 years of total professional experience in relevant fields
• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in engineering, computer science, or related technical field with business acumen is a plus
• Either 3+ years of experience at strategy-focused professional services firms OR equivalent product management experience (preferably in airline industry or retailing)
• Engineering mindset complemented by management capabilities - able to understand technical aspects while translating them into business value
• Excellent English communication skills with ability to deliver presentations at industry events and represent the company professionally in global forums
• Experience with management consulting approaches such as slide deck creation, executive-ready documentation, and structured deliverables is valued
• Experience in building relationships with senior executives is beneficial
• Global perspective through work experience across multiple regions or with multinational organizations is a plus
• Strategic thinking and ability to translate business challenges into actionable solutions
• Analytical skills with the ability to gather, interpret, and present data to drive decisions
• Project management experience with ability to lead cross-functional initiatives
• Familiarity with industry research methodologies, competitive analysis and MECE frameworks is beneficial
• Experience with early-stage product development (from concept to implementation) is valued.
• Comfort working in environments with some ambiguity
• Knowledge of airline commercial systems, distribution technology, or digital retail platforms is advantageous but not required
