Product Owner (PO)

As a Product Owner at Sofstica, you will serve as the primary liaison between our clients and development team, ensuring clear communication and alignment. You will be responsible for translating the client's product vision and strategy into actionable tasks, managing the product backlog, and facilitating agile processes. Your role will be critical in delivering high-quality products that align with market demands and business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Client Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact between the client and the development team, ensuring clear communication and alignment on project goals.
• Vision Translation: Translate the client’s product vision and strategy into actionable tasks that align with market and business objectives.
• Design Architecture: Serve as the product chief design architect and take ownership of the Functional Specification Document.
• Backlog Management: Manage and prioritize the product backlog based on customer needs and business goals, ensuring it reflects current priorities.
• Requirements Gathering: Gather and understand client requirements to create detailed user stories that drive the development process.
• Collaboration: Collaborate closely with development teams to ensure features are delivered as expected and meet quality standards.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.
• atleast 3 years of experience in Senior BA/PO or product management, preferably in an product based company
• Strong understanding of agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.) and product development processes.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions.
• Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, Asana) and methodologies.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in Product company
• Product Owner certification (e.g., Certified Scrum Product Owner) is a plus.
