Product Support Representative

Job Purpose

Provide customer-facing product support and parts advisory to external parts customers and independent workshops, handling standard parts application inquiries and promoting MAN genuine parts to support parts sales growth and customer retention.


Accountabilities

  • Handle incoming parts application inquiries from external customers, independent workshops, and fleet operators via phone, email, and in-person visits, providing accurate MAN genuine parts recommendations and application guidance.
  • Conduct scheduled customer visits within the assigned territory to promote MAN genuine parts, deliver product information materials, and identify parts sales opportunities for the Area Parts Manager.
  • Process standard customer parts complaints and fitment issues, gathering required documentation and coordinating initial investigation with the product support team before escalating complex cases to the Senior Representative.
  • Maintain customer visit logs, inquiry records, and complaint tracking in the CRM system, providing regular activity reports to the Product Support Supervisor.
  • Participate in parts promotional events, trade shows, and customer training sessions as directed by the Product Support Supervisor to build brand awareness and customer engagement.


Experience

Minimum 2–4 years of experience in automotive parts sales support, customer service, or product representation. Prior experience with commercial vehicle parts and customer-facing field roles is preferred.


Education

Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Automotive Technology, Marketing, or a related field (mandatory). Certifications in MAN product systems, customer service, or automotive parts are a plus.
