Product Technical Support Engineer

This position is responsible for providing technical support and training to customers and installers, managing installer communications, and ensuring ELV systems—including CCTV, access control, and intercom—are tested, commissioned, and performing according to project requirements.

Responsibilities

• Primary responsibility for maintaining installer WhatsApp groups and providing technical support
• Conducting product training and empowerment for targeted customers
• Undertaking testing and commissioning activities in line with the specified site/project requirements
• Ensuring that equipment works to its specification
• Creating and carrying out test procedures
• Ensuring the safe testing and commissioning of completed installations to achieve the necessary performance in accordance with project program requirements
• Thorough understanding of client’s requirement
• Providing technical support, Troubleshooting and investigating problems and diagnosing and repairing faults

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
• 3 years or above working as ELV presales and support Engineer, familiar with CCTV, Access control, intercom or other related ELV system and product
• CCNA, HCSA certification or pass other security manufacturer certified training is preferred
• Experience in dealing with Projects management
• Experience in Product selection and solution design
• Excellent public speaking skills and good at making presentations
• Capable to deal with both pre-sales and after sales support
• Sensitive and always updated to new technology
• Strong logic and a sharp ability to locate technical issues
• Enthusiastic and responsible
• Good command on written and spoken English and Arabic, experience in making testing reports and feedback would be an advantage
