Job Summary

A garment manufacturing company is seeking a competent and detail-oriented Production and Quality In-Charge to support the Production Manager in overseeing daily production activities and ensuring strict adherence to quality standards. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising production processes, monitoring quality control procedures, and ensuring that garments are manufactured efficiently, meeting company specifications and industry standards.

The role requires strong technical knowledge of garment manufacturing processes, including stitching, embroidery, printing processes, and finishing. The candidate must be capable of supervising production teams, identifying quality issues, ensuring timely production, and supporting operational improvements within the factory.

Key Responsibilities

Production Supervision

• Assist the Production Manager in planning and monitoring daily garment production activities.
• Supervise production teams to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to production targets.
• Monitor production lines including cutting, stitching, printing, embroidery, and finishing processes.
• Ensure proper coordination between departments to maintain production schedules.
• Oversee manpower allocation to ensure optimal productivity and workflow efficiency.

Quality Control and Inspection

• Monitor product quality throughout the production process to ensure compliance with company standards.
• Conduct regular inspections of garments during and after production.
• Identify defects or quality deviations and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure proper quality control procedures are followed across all production stages.
• Maintain quality inspection records and reports.

Production Monitoring and Reporting

• Track production progress and provide regular updates to the Production Manager.
• Monitor output, efficiency, and quality performance of production teams.
• Prepare daily production and quality reports.
• Assist in identifying operational improvements and process optimization opportunities.

Technical Oversight

• Ensure proper use and operation of garment production machinery.
• Provide guidance to production staff on garment construction standards and production techniques.
• Support the implementation of best practices in garment manufacturing and quality control.

Team Supervision and Coordination

• Supervise production workers and ensure compliance with company policies and operational procedures.
• Assist in training production staff on quality standards and operational procedures.
• Promote a safe and organized working environment in the production area.

Qualifications and Experience

Education:

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Textile Technology, Apparel Manufacturing, Fashion Technology, or a related field is preferred.

Experience:

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in garment manufacturing production and quality control.
• Practical experience in supervising garment production lines.
• Experience working with stitching, embroidery, printing, and finishing processes is preferred.
• Experience in quality inspection and defect identification within garment production.

Technical Skills

• Strong knowledge of garment production processes and quality standards.
• Understanding of garment construction, stitching techniques, and finishing requirements.
• Ability to identify production inefficiencies and quality issues.
• Familiarity with production planning and monitoring systems.

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: QAR3,000.00 - QAR4,000.00 per month
