Summary

We are seeking a talented Production Artist to join our dynamic team at Motivational Systems, Inc. Las Vegas Division. This role is essential in translating design concepts into high-quality production-ready artwork. The ideal candidate will contribute to a variety of projects that showcase our commitment to excellence and innovation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare final production-ready files based on supplied specifications.
• Make various formats of supplied artwork production-ready and resolve any artwork issues that arise during production.
• Provide image manipulation.
• Create, weed and apply vinyl to products using a Graphtec vinyl plotter (HP Latex printer or similar)
• Troubleshoot problems as they arise with both the creative and the production team.
• Make changes to product based on feedback from management and clients.
• Meets with design and technical staff on projects, technical specifications, and deadlines.
• Stays abreast of any industry-wide changes in design philosophy and any new tools and technologies being used.
• Coordinates with vendors
• Maintains job information
• Process Work Orders
• Materials Orders – Shipping/ Receiving / Pickup
• Keeps inventory on stock items
• Vinyl Wrapping, experience with vinyl and install of large format graphic is a plus

Requirements

• Strong ability to effectively communicate with internal staff, both verbally and in writing
• Demonstrates pride in their work and determination to finish the job
• Strong skills in organizing and working on several tasks concurrently, as well as in giving proper attention to details
• An eye for detail
• Proficient in Adobe Illustrator / Adobe Acrobat and Creative Cloud
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite – (Beginning / Intermediate Excel)
• Understanding of Graphic Files
• Strong Administrative Skills
• Must be able to run Graphtec vinyl plotter, weed, and apply vinyl
• Clean driving record
• Possess 2+ years of experience within the signage or print industry
