Position Purpose:
The purpose of the Production Assistant position is to assist the Senior Show and/or Show Producer of GTN with various administrative tasks. This includes scheduling meetings, creating and/or formatting documents, overseeing GTN Show(s) Broadcast preparation, hospitality tasks, and post-production books. This position provides support to GTN filming, along with pre- and post-production preparation and distribution, ensuring success with TV Broadcasts as assigned. Continue to support and serve Recruitment as outlined under the essential duties.
Essential Duties:

Assist Senior Show Producer/Show Producer in all aspects of the GTN Show programming.
- Read, organize, and respond to emails on behalf of the Senior Show Producer and Show Producer as needed.
- Assist Senior Show Producer and Show Producer in taking detailed notes for each Shoot Day for which the Senior Show Producer or Show Producer is responsible.
- Assist in drafting and distributing run-of-show documents and production lineups for Shoot Days.
- Collaborate with the Production Management office to provide hospitality/craft services for shoots, scheduling hosts, special guests, talent, and studios for Shows that the Senior Show Producer/Show Producer is responsible for.
- Track and submit receipts for review to maintain expense documentation for production.
- Schedule meetings and appointments, prepare rooms for meetings, prepare agendas, record meetings, transcribe and distribute meeting notes, and provide other general administrative support for the GTN Senior Show Producer/Show Producer.
- Develop and maintain professional communication templates to facilitate clear and effective interdepartmental communication on behalf of senior leadership.
- Create the Content Guide and maintain/update as needed.
- Serve as a representative of the Senior Show Producer/Show Producer in various capacities.

Utilize templates to create detailed events and project flow documentation.
- Coordinate and manage the scheduling of multiple events while overseeing comprehensive communication to all relevant individuals and departments.
- Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Craft detailed and comprehensive proposals, complete with financial budgets and strategic details for presentation to executive leadership.
- Oversee and track diverse projects to ensure deadlines are met and requests are fulfilled efficiently.
- Oversee Music Cue Sheets for your assigned shows. Make sure they are filled out properly and turned in by deadlines.
- Oversee Metadata and ensure all is filled out properly by deadlines.
- Coordinate regularly with the Broadcast Operations Team to ensure they receive all necessary data for each show in a timely manner. Proactively identify and address potential issues to ensure broadcasts are delivered and scheduled without delay.
- Assist on set duties, including check-ins for guests, talent, and crew hospitality, call sheets, signage, and general logistics.
- Coordinate internal delivery of scripts, run sheets, assets, and production materials between departments (Production, Post, Graphics, etc.)
- Support GTN content creation by managing media asset organizations (e.g., B-roll, stock footage, audio clips, and more) using internal file management systems.
- Assist in gathering show elements (graphics, promos, lower thirds, etc) for pre- and post-production teams.
- Help prepare host cards, cue cards, signage, and visual prompts for shoot days.
- Take photos or behind-the-scenes footage as needed for internal use or social media.
- Manage and coordinate the calendar and schedule of the Senior Show Producer / Show Producer.
- Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Must have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

Must sign the Statement of Faith.

A high school diploma or equivalent education is required.

A college Business Course is a plus.

Charis Bible College student or graduate is preferred.
- Must demonstrate mature Christian behavior and have excellent people skills.
- Must pass all required checks.
Experience:
-
2 years’ Experience in Administration or Daily Show Television experience.
- 1 year of experience with quality control for the Gospel Truth show is required.
- Must be able to operate all Microsoft Office Programs on both PC and MAC platforms.
- Compensation is commensurate with experience.
