Production Assistant – Metal Fabrication

We are seeking a Production Assistant with a strong technical background to support our production team. The role involves planning, delegating, and monitoring production activities with a focus on efficiency and precision.

Key Responsibilities:

• Use AutoCAD and similar engineering tools to prepare, delegate, and track production work.
• Plan and optimize plasma cutting nesting for sheet metal and plate jobs.
• Coordinate with production teams to ensure smooth workflow and timely job execution.
• Prepare cutting lists, layouts, and job cards for operators.
• Assist in scheduling and planning production for efficiency across multiple projects.
• Monitor progress and support troubleshooting during fabrication.
• Ensure quality and accuracy of work as per client and project requirements.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in a metal fabrication / engineering production environment.
• Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD and related tools.
• Prior experience with plasma cutting nesting and sheet optimization is essential.
• Understanding of various metals, machining, and fabrication processes.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and convert them into production-ready plans.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Minimum of 2–4 years relevant experience in a technical production role.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED2,500.00 - AED3,000.00 per month
