Job Description
We are looking for a Mechatronics Engineer to join our Production Department as a Production Control Engineer. The selected candidate will play a key role in ensuring smooth, efficient, and quality-driven manufacturing operations for static and smart energy meters.
The role involves monitoring production workflows, coordinating with engineering and QA teams, optimizing processes, and supporting the implementation of best manufacturing practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor, control, and optimize day-to-day production activities of static and smart energy meters.
- Coordinate with R&D, QA, Testing, and Supply Chain teams to ensure timely and accurate production execution.
- Develop and maintain production plans, schedules, and work orders.
- Track production KPIs including output, rejection rate, and process accuracy.
- Analyze bottlenecks and propose improvement actions to enhance efficiency and reduce downtime.
- Assist in building and updating SOPs, work instructions, and assembly guidelines.
- Support troubleshooting activities related to hardware, PCB assembly, calibration, and testing lines.
- Work closely with line supervisors to ensure compliance with production standards and safety protocols.
- Participate in the rollout and testing of new meter models, firmware changes, and production upgrades.
- Prepare daily production reports and escalate deviations to management when needed.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Kaizen, 5S, etc.).
Eligibility & Qualification Criteria
- Bachelor’s degree (BE/BS) in Mechatronics Engineering, graduating class of 2025.
- PEC Registered (or registration in progress with evidence).
- Strong academic foundation in electronics, embedded systems, control systems, and manufacturing processes.
- Fresh graduates with FYPs or internships related to electronics, embedded systems, or production automation will be preferred.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong teamwork, communication, and coordination abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Project, or any production planning tools is a plus.
- Knowledge of PCB assembly processes, SMT lines, test jigs, calibration benches, or quality standards will be an advantage.

Pay: Rs50,000.00 - Rs75,000.00 per month
