Production Control Supervisor

The Production Control Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily production scheduling and coordinating the flow of materials, parts, and assemblies throughout the manufacturing process. This role works closely with the Operations Manager, assisting with production planning, inventory control, customer service, and ensuring materials are available to support efficient operations and on-time customer delivery.
The ideal candidate will have experience in a manufacturing environment and the ability to lead a team while collaborating with production, purchasing, and logistics departments to maintain smooth and efficient production operations.
Salary offered: $75,000-$80,000 annually, based on experience

What You’ll Do

• Supervise and coordinate daily production schedules to support efficient manufacturing operations.
• Assist the Operations Manager with planning and executing production schedules and material requirements.
• Monitor the flow of materials, parts, and assemblies between departments to support production timelines.
• Lead and support production control team members in their daily responsibilities.
• Work with production, purchasing, and logistics teams to resolve material shortages and scheduling challenges.
• Support the development and maintenance of material and inventory control systems to ensure accurate planning and on-time delivery.
• Track production progress and help adjust schedules to meet operational goals and customer commitments.
• Assist with engineering change processes and ensure updates are reflected in production planning.
• Help coordinate material storage and support shipping and receiving operations as needed.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and effectiveness within production control processes.

What We’re Looking For

• 3+ years of experience in production planning, scheduling, or production control.
• Previous supervisory or team leadership experience
• Experience working in a manufacturing environment. Foundry preferred.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced production environment.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
