Step into our fast-paced Cranston facility and lead the heartbeat of our operation—the Kettle Room. Your day begins with a quick scan of production goals, a safety talk with the team, and a walk-through of the area. You’ll coordinate the flow of work, jump in alongside operators when needed, and keep quality at the center of every batch we produce.
- Start the shift by aligning the team on targets and confirming the production plan for the Kettle Room.
- Oversee daily production to ensure manufacturing targets are met, removing roadblocks and balancing workloads.
- Model and enforce safe work practices and product quality standards while ensuring adherence to company policies during manufacturing and packaging.
- Coach and train operators—both onboarding new team members and cross-training the crew.
- Optimize workflows and organization using 5S and lean principles to drive consistency and efficiency.
- Verify area inventory counts and accuracy so materials are ready when needed.
- Partner with the Manufacturing Manager, providing input and assistance in writing performance reviews.
- Use Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook to track production, communicate updates, and document activities.
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Previous supervisory experience leading a team
- Hands-on experience working with chemicals in a manufacturing setting
- Strong math skills to support batching, measurements, and calculations
- Ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
