Production Crew Leader- III

The job holder is responsible for ensuring that all Pipes or Moulded fittings are
manufactured in accordance to the standard specification using the approved Raw materials
as per the BOM.
Supervision of Machine section.

• Ensure that the section manufacture the quantities planned as

per the job order to meet the specified standard.
Direction of Subordinates:

• Organize and supervise the activities and work of a small team

of subordinates to ensure that all work within a specific area of
production activity is carried out in an efficient and procedurally
compliant manner
Machine setup

• Ensure that all machines are operating satisfactorily and that

regular maintenance is undertaken to avoid any break downs

• Ensure that the correct Raw materials are used as per the

specification and keep a better track to avoid Raw Material
variation.

• Optimize production and minimize wastage

Control of staff

• Ensure all employees adhere to the H&S regulation, are well

motivated and trained to perform to the required level of
excellence
Policies & Procedures:

• Communicate the requirement of operational procedures and

Instructions to subordinates and monitor their adherence so
that work is carried out in a controlled manner.
Communicate with Maintenance

• Ensure in coordination with Maintenance to avoid the break

downs

Production work flow

• Reports any accidents, problems, mistakes or non–

conformities he faces during production to inform his superior
about all activities and update record.
Cleanliness / Safety

• Ensure that his area is kept clean at all times to comply with

housekeeping regulations.

• Ensure that all relevant safety, quality and environmental
• Procedures, instructions and controls are adhered to so that

the safety of employees, quality of products/services and
environmental compliance can be guaranteed.

• Ensure that no bulk materials kept in the shop floor to avoid

any accident.

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS
Required Qualifications:

• Technical / High School

Preferred Experience:

• 4-5 years working in a plant set up.
