Production Designer

The Production Designer supports Bell's marketing and communications efforts by updating, formatting, and finalizing existing marketing materials across all business lines. This role focuses on execution, consistency, and production readiness, ensuring materials are delivered accurately, on time, and in compliance with established brand standards. Working within approved templates and design systems, the Production Designer translates existing creative concepts into functional, press-ready, and digital deliverables. They partner closely with senior designers and leadership, as well as internal stakeholders and printing vendors, to support high-volume, detail-driven production needs.

Responsibilities:

Project Execution & Production

  • Update and maintain existing marketing materials, including brochures, newsletters, reports, presentations, and other print and digital assets using established templates and brand guidelines.
  • Execute design revisions accurately while preserving visual consistency across materials and business lines.
  • Translate creative direction into precise, production-ready deliverables under the guidance of senior staff.
  • Format reports, proposals, and PowerPoint presentations, including charts and graphs.
  • Prepare press-ready and digital files in accordance with provided specifications, print standards, and digital requirements.
  • Support overall marketing initiatives by ensuring consistent messaging, visual integrity, and brand standards across all deliverables.

Asset Management

  • Adjust, retouch, crop, and optimize photography for press releases, web pages, ContentHub, Outlook, and internal communications.
  • Maintain and organize current digital asset libraries within ContentHub, including inserts, internal documents, and employee photography.
  • Ensure accuracy, version control, and accessibility of marketing assets

Education, Experience, and Other Expectations

  • Bachelor's degree in Design, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 1–2 years of experience in a production design, marketing, or similar role.
  • Experience working within a Digital Asset Management (DAM) system.
  • Previous experience in a print environment or marketing/creative agency preferred.

Skills and Knowledge

  • Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) and Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel).
  • Solid understanding of print production processes, pre-press standards, and digital file specifications.
  • Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
  • Strong organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across teams and business lines
