Production Development Specialist

About Us

Mad Parfumeur is one of the leading players in the Turkish perfume and cosmetics industry. We are seeking an experienced Production Development Specialist to join our production operations in Ankara and contribute to continuous improvement, process optimization, and manufacturing efficiency initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Process Improvement & Efficiency Enhancement

• Analyze production bottlenecks and develop improvement projects
• Lead and implement Lean manufacturing techniques (Kaizen, 5S, SMED, etc.)
• Evaluate OEE, scrap rates, downtime, and cycle times to identify improvement areas
• Develop methods, standardizations, and workflow enhancements to increase production efficiency

Product & Process Development

• Evaluate the manufacturability of new products and collaborate with R&D on process development
• Assess raw materials, formulas, and process steps for manufacturability and cost efficiency
• Conduct tests for formula/process modifications and prepare technical test reports

Production Data Analysis & Reporting

• Analyze production data and prepare capacity, efficiency, scrap, and performance reports
• Monitor daily/weekly/monthly KPI sets and present results to management
• Identify improvement opportunities through data-driven insights

Equipment & Line Optimization

• Develop improvement actions to enhance the technical performance of production lines
• Ensure standardization of machine settings and create relevant technical documentation
• Support feasibility studies for new equipment and technology investments

Quality & Standards Compliance

• Verify alignment of production processes with quality standards
• Perform root-cause analyses for product or process deviations
• Collaborate with Quality Assurance to manage corrective/preventive actions (CAPA)

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work closely with R&D, quality, production, planning, maintenance, and technical teams
• Ensure accurate transfer of formula changes, process updates, and technical requirements to production
• Provide technical guidance and training to production teams when needed

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in industrial, chemical, mechanical engineering or related technical fields
• Minimum 5 years of experience in production development, process improvement, or manufacturing engineering
• Strong knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles (Kaizen, 5S, OEE, SMED, etc.)
• Proficient in data analysis, MS Excel, and reporting tools
• Preferably experienced in cosmetics/chemical manufacturing or filling–mixing processes
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and technical evaluation skills
