Job Summary

The Production Engineer is responsible for supervising and optimizing the precast concrete production process, ensuring efficiency, quality, and compliance with project specifications. The role involves close coordination with technical, quality, and maintenance teams to achieve production targets and uphold operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor daily precast concrete production activities to ensure alignment with design and quality standards.
• Plan and organize production schedules to meet delivery timelines and optimize resource utilization.
• Coordinate with the technical office for the implementation of shop drawings and production details.
• Ensure that molds, reinforcement, and casting activities comply with project specifications.
• Monitor material usage, report variances, and coordinate with procurement to ensure timely material availability.
• Oversee curing, demolding, and storage of precast elements while ensuring quality and safety standards are maintained.
• Collaborate with quality control to resolve any non-conformance or technical issues in production.
• Ensure equipment and machinery are maintained properly and report maintenance needs promptly.
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and improve workflow efficiency.
• Prepare and maintain daily production reports and performance metrics.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Production/Industrial Engineering .
• 2–5 years of experience in precast concrete production, construction materials manufacturing , or a similar industrial environment.
• Prior experience in supervising factory operations or production lines is preferred.
• Strong leadership and teamwork abilities.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Good understanding of precast concrete production techniques and processes.
• Knowledge of reinforcement placement, concrete casting, curing, and finishing procedures.
• Familiarity with ACI and Egyptian standards for concrete production.
• Understanding of production planning and process optimization principles.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) .
• Excellent command of Arabic and English (written and spoken).
