Production Engineer (China)

We’re moving our warehouse automation product from prototype to production and are seeking a Mechanical Engineer based in China  to lead this transition. You will manage the production of our hardware in partnership with an established Chinese manufacturing company.

What you’ll do

• Collaborate with suppliers and the engineering design team to review drawings and ensure parts are manufactured to spec.
• Lead the  assembly process : oversee mechanical and electrical assembly as well as testing.
• Manage  inventory and supply chain : track parts, coordinate orders, and ensure a steady flow of mechanical and electrical components.
• Implement and maintain  quality control  for incoming parts and final assemblies.

What we’re looking for

• Proven experience taking products from prototype to  mass production .
• Strong background in  plastic injection molding , with familiarity in machining, sheet metal, and finishing processes.
• Proficiency in CAD (SolidWorks, Fusion 360, or similar) for drawing review and updates.
• Hands-on, shop-floor mindset: comfortable with assembly, inspection, and problem-solving.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented, with experience managing BOMs, drawings, and supplier communication.
