JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Plan, schedule, and oversee the entire joinery production process from raw material to finished product.
- Prepare production drawings, cutting lists, and material requirements based on approved shop drawings.
- Coordinate with design, procurement, and site teams to ensure smooth workflow and timely delivery.
- Supervise and guide production staff, ensuring quality standards and safety protocols are maintained.
- Monitor daily production output and ensure adherence to project timelines.
- Optimize production efficiency by implementing best practices and minimizing material wastage.
- Review technical drawings and ensure they are accurately interpreted for production.
- Conduct quality checks at different stages of production to ensure products meet client and company specifications.
- Manage inventory of raw materials, hardware, and consumables; coordinate with the purchasing team for timely replenishment.
- Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers regarding technical requirements and delivery schedules.
- Identify and resolve production-related issues or bottlenecks promptly.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production reports for management review.
- Ensure compliance with company HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) policies within the workshop.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives for process optimization and cost reduction.
Preferred Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Mechanical, Civil, or Furniture/Interior Engineering.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in joinery or furniture manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of joinery materials, hardware, and manufacturing techniques.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and production planning software.
