Production Foreman – Event & Exhibition

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and hands-on Production Foreman to oversee production and coordinate the on-site setup, fabrication, and dismantling of exhibitions, events, and experiential projects. This role is critical to ensuring that production activities are executed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage on-site production teams (carpenters, electricians, laborers, AV techs, etc.).
• Coordinate all activities related to the construction, installation, and dismantling of event/exhibition structures.
• Ensure all production work is completed on time and adheres to design specifications and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with project managers, designers, and vendors to ensure production readiness and timely delivery.
• Maintain detailed daily reports on site progress, labor usage, material consumption, and any incidents.
• Conduct pre-event site checks to assess readiness and resolve potential issues.
• Manage inventory of tools, equipment, and materials on-site.
• Ensure all health & safety standards are met on-site.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during production or installation.
• Lead toolbox talks and daily site briefings for team members.
• Ensure the work environment remains clean, safe, and professional at all times.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience (5+ years) in production or site supervision, preferably in the events or exhibition industry.
• Strong understanding of fabrication, construction, electrical, and AV installation processes.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and production plans.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Willingness to travel and work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Technical background or trade certification in carpentry, fabrication, or electrical work.
• Experience working with international events or exhibitions.

Working Conditions:

• Physically demanding; may require lifting, carrying, and standing for long hours.
• Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
• Requires travel to event locations locally and occasionally internationally.
