PRODUCTION GRAPHIC DESIGNER

Compensation Range: $40 - 43 per hour

We are looking for a Senior Production Artist to join our client's Apparel Production team. We want a designer who loves the technical details of the graphic process as well as finding new ways of working. We are experts at putting art on both physical prototypes and digital renders.

This role amplifies design by delivering flawless, production-ready files. You will be a trusted resource within the team, creating detailed and accurate schematics, with the ability to run point for Production Art within given categories. This includes attending meetings, identifying personal action items, and being the go-to production resource for the broader cross-functional team. The ideal candidate has a creative mindset and the ability to manage multiple projects in a time-sensitive environment while keeping production moving forward.

This role is 4 days onsite in Beaverton, OR.

Responsibilities:
In this role, you will focus on Golf Apparel products, ranging from tees to cut-and-sew garments. You'll work with Product Management and Design to create and finalize graphic and apparel design line details across multiple levels of product. You'll also monitor the development of prototype samples and interact closely with Technical Design and Development.

Core Responsibilities:

• Leverage 2D and 3D tools to bring designs to life.
• Attend Production Art/Design meetings, alignment sessions, and fit sessions.
• Execute high-volume schematic creation and lay-down product page creation.
• Create documentation for downstream partners and review prototypes/strike-offs.
• Track and maintain updates on all appropriate files for accuracy through final approval.
• Advocate for new tools and efficiencies within the product creation life cycle.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Apparel/Fashion Design, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education, experience, and training).
• Experience: Minimum 5+ years in a design and/or production environment.
• Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of apparel product creation and product life cycles.
• Software Mastery: Proficient knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and the Creative Suite.
• Design Skills: Proficient in sketching, layout, print/pattern, and color theory.
• Technical Expertise: Knowledge of graphic applications such as ink types and trim substrates.
• Communication: Expert-level listening, communication, and organizational skills.
• Soft Skills: Ability to navigate ambiguity, laser focus on critical details, and the ability to multitask amidst competing priorities.
• Culture: A curiosity for learning and building a strong design community.
• Pluses: Experience in 3D apparel programs (CLO or Browzwear) and familiarity with Smartsheet, Airtable, or Miro.
• The X-Factor: A love for sports is a bonus, but a love for design is essential.
