Production Line Assistant

Job Summary

The Production Line Assistant supports the smooth operation of the garment sewing line by coordinating materials, assisting operators, ensuring workflow continuity, and maintaining production quality. This role ensures that sewing line productivity targets are met while following safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

1. Line Support & Workflow

• Assist sewing machine operators by supplying cut panels, trims, threads, and other required materials.
• Ensure the sewing line runs without interruptions by maintaining a steady flow of work.
• Arrange bundles according to order, size, color, and priority.
• Move semi-finished garments between operations.

2. Production Coordination

• Pcs rate tailor wages follow up.
• Follow instructions from the Line Supervisor or Production Manager.
• Help in setting up the line for new styles by arranging components and understanding operation sequence.
• Update production boards, WIP (Work In Progress) status, and output logs as required.

3. Material Handling

• Maintain cleanliness and proper arrangement of materials, bundles, and trim bins.
• Support warehouse or cutting room by receiving materials and distributing them on the line.
• Prevent loss or mix-up of components.

4. Safety & Housekeeping

• Keep the sewing floor clean, organized, and free of hazards.
• Follow all safety guidelines and PPE requirements.
• Assist in minimizing waste and maintaining discipline on the production floor.

Work Environment

• Factory-based role in a garment manufacturing unit.
• Requires interaction with sewing operators, supervisors, and quality team.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: ₹9,000.00 - ₹12,000.00 per month
