Production Manager

Ras Al Khaimah, United Arab Emirates

· Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations and standards.

· Oversee the day-to-day operations of the production facility, ensuring adherence to production schedules and quality standards.

· Track and analyze production data, generating reports and recommendations for management.

· Ensure factory process is run in compliance to all quality control parameters, delivering high quality products to customers. Conduct root cause analysis on all quality faults and ensure corrective and preventive measures are put in place.

· On time in full delivery of finished goods to customers.

· Ensure all resources are effectively allocated to maximize productivity.

· Ensure factory overall equipment efficiency (OEE) and tobacco waste targets are met.

· Ensure factory machinery and equipment are maintained to the highest standards by planning and executing maintenance activities and achieving the lowest breakdowns and meeting targets.

· Maintain optimum spare parts usage, by identifying & procuring critical spare parts on time, while ensuring cost optimization.

· Maintain the highest standards of communication among the team and peers.

· Drive continuous improvement projects throughout the factory that covers safety, quality and overall factory performance.

· Drive initiatives focusing on reducing electricity consumption, water consumption, diesel consumption and tobacco waste reduction.

· Execute factory planning and scheduling to optimize change overs and maximize production capacity.

· Conduct annual production capacity exercise to evaluate factory utilization.

· Develop, review and update factory operating procedures, policies and training material.

· Conduct accurate budget planning for the department.

· Deliver cost savings target against budgetary plan.

· Manage direct reports and their activities such as employee performance management, conflict resolution, discipline. Ensure all shopfloor employees are tasked with performance KPI’s, tracked and monitored at least bi-annually and provide continuous feedback.

· Conduct training and development interventions to shopfloor staff covering safety, quality, operations etc.

· Ensure a healthy working environment in the department, create space to grow and develop.

· Act, live and behave by BAGU core values and the same resonate among the teams.

Requirements:

Education:

· Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, or a related field.

Experience:

· A minimum of 7 years of experience in a manufacturing management role, with at elast 2 years as production manager within the FMCG industry.

· Proven track record of success in managing factory operations and driving operational excellence.

· Strong knowledge of production management, quality control, maintenance, and supply chain processes.

· Certification on TPM, Lean six sigma or equivalent is advantageous.

Pay: AED15,000.00 - AED20,000.00 per month
