Production Manager

We are looking for a Production Manager to work with us.

Qualifications

·       Minimum bachelor’s degree in mechanical, mechatronics or industrial engineering,

·       10+ years of experience in production and operations management,

·       Preferably 5+ years of experience in defense industry,

·       Good knowledge of ammunition components,

·       Experience in managing product lifecycles,

·       Experience in cold forging processes is preferable,

·       Ability to manage a team efficiently and effectively,

·       Strong verbal and written communication skills in both Turkish and English,

·       Able to reside in Balikesir.

Responsibilities

·       Planning and organizing production schedules for metal component facility,

·       Overseeing production processes,

·       Ensure department workflow and tracking documents are up to date,

·       Tracking all workflows and ensuring all production processes are being actual and tuned with targets,

·       Identifies the best tools and technologies to help manage workflow and optimizes their implementation and use,

·       Evaluating machine resources to ensure continued production and minimal downtime,

·       Contributes to long- and short-term targets determination and assignment,

·       Estimating and agreeing on budgets and timescales with the operations director,

·       Ensuring adequate scheduling of staff,

·       Setting productivity goals for each manufacturing team,

·       Support, motivate, train and provide guidance to the whole team on all targets and processes,

·       Developing workflow policies and procedures that improve efficiency without compromising safety or quality,

·       Collaborating with production planning, quality management department,

·       Ensuring all safety and health standards are met to keep an organization accident-free,

·       Identifying problems and implementing preventative strategies to minimize risk,

·       Assessing project and resource requirements,

·       Determining necessary materials and collaborating with the purchasing team on supply,

·       Collaboration with the maintenance team on organizing the repair and routine maintenance of production equipment.
