As a part of Epta Group, Epta Turkiye is continue to their manufacturing operations based in Avrupa Serbest Bolgesi / since 2007 and improving the production capacity and headcount.
In line with growing organisation in Turkiye, we are looking for new teammate as “ Production Manager ” who will be under Manufacturing Operations Department.

Job Purpose
The Production Manager is responsible for leading and optimizing all manufacturing operations at Epta’s Çorlu Plant, which produces commercial refrigeration systems through Sheet Metal Fabrication, Foaming, Pre-Assembly, and Final Assembly processes.
Reporting directly to the Plant Manager, this role ensures the achievement of operational excellence across Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and People Development (SQDCP) dimensions. The Production Manager provides strategic and tactical leadership to multiple production units, supervises Production Unit Coordinators, and drives continuous improvement across all manufacturing lines.
As a key member of the plant leadership team, the role is pivotal in transforming the Çorlu facility into a benchmark manufacturing site within Epta Group — ensuring world-class standards, process discipline, and sustainable productivity.

Key Responsibilities
1. Operational Leadership & Performance Management
- Lead and coordinate all production areas: Sheet Metal, Foaming, Pre-Assembly, and Assembly lines.
- Translate the master production schedule into executable daily, weekly, and monthly targets.
- Ensure efficient use of resources, manpower, and equipment to achieve production KPIs (OEE, scrap, downtime, rework, yield).
- Monitor shift performance and implement structured problem-solving routines (PDCA, 5 Why, Ishikawa).
- Drive consistent operational results while maintaining flexibility to meet customer delivery plans.

2. Strategic Planning & Industrial Development
- Develop and execute the production strategy in line with Epta’s global operations roadmap.
- Support the Plant Manager in defining capacity planning, new product introduction (NPI), and industrialization projects.
- Lead factory layout optimization, automation, and lean transformation initiatives across production units.
- Contribute to annual budgeting, investment proposals, and operational cost improvement plans.
- Benchmark against other Epta sites and implement best practices for process excellence and performance.

3. People Leadership & Organizational Development
- Manage and develop a multidisciplinary team of Production Unit Coordinators, Supervisors, and Operators.
- Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and respect aligned with Epta’s corporate values.
- Lead performance reviews, define skill development priorities, and support cross-training programs.
- Collaborate with HR and the Plant Manager on workforce planning, succession management, and engagement programs.
- Promote leadership behaviors based on coaching, transparency, and continuous feedback.

4. Quality, Safety & Compliance
- Guarantee that all production processes adhere to internal quality standards and customer requirements.
- Work closely with the Quality, Engineering, and Maintenance teams to reduce non-conformities and rework.
- Ensure strict compliance with EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) rules, audits, and Turkish legal regulations.
- Lead by example in implementing 5S, risk assessments, and proactive safety actions.
- Support ISO, corporate, and customer audits by providing clear documentation and process traceability.

5. Cross-Functional Collaboration & Communication
- Act as the central communication bridge between production units and other key departments; Maintenance, Supply Chain, Quality, Engineering, and HR.
- Represent production in plant leadership meetings and group operational reviews.
- Ensure consistent reporting of production results, KPIs, and improvement actions to management.
- Facilitate daily Gemba walks and tier meetings to align priorities across shifts and teams.
- Contribute to customer and HQ visits by showcasing plant capabilities and improvements.

6. Continuous Improvement & Lean Manufacturing
- Lead Lean Manufacturing deployment across all production areas (Value Stream Mapping, Kaizen, SMED, Standard Work).
- Drive cost reduction and process simplification projects without compromising safety or quality.
- Oversee digital performance dashboards (MES, Qlik) and promote data-driven decision making.
- Encourage innovation and operator involvement in problem-solving and efficiency gains.
- Maintain high standards of process discipline, visual management, and continuous improvement culture.

Requirements / Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Mechanical, or Manufacturing Engineering; Master’s degree preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 10–12 years of manufacturing experience, including 5+ years in a senior production or operations management role — ideally within the commercial refrigeration, HVAC, white goods, or metal fabrication sectors.
- Leadership: Demonstrated ability to manage multi-area production operations with >200 employees across several shifts.
- Technical Competence:- Deep knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, TPM, Six Sigma, and OEE management.
- Proficiency in ERP/MES systems, production data analysis, and project management tools.

- Business Acumen: Proven track record in improving productivity, reducing costs, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Communication: Strong interpersonal and English communication skills for effective collaboration within Epta Group.
- Behavioral Competencies: Strategic thinker, hands-on leader, result-oriented, with resilience and high accountability.
- Other:- Willingness to be visibly present on the shop floor and engage directly with production teams.
- Experience in leading cultural transformation and change management initiatives.
