Key ResponsibilitiesProject Planning & Execution
- Manage exhibition and event projects from design approval to dismantling
- Prepare production schedules, method statements, and installation plans
- Coordinate fabrication, logistics, installation, and dismantling activities
- Ensure compliance with venue rules, HSE regulations, and local authorities
Team & Vendor Management
- Coordinate designers, site supervisors, carpenters, electricians, painters, and installers
- Select and manage suppliers, subcontractors, and production vendors
- Supervise on-site teams during build-up and breakdown
Budget & Cost Control
- Prepare production budgets and cost estimates
- Control material usage and labour costs
- Negotiate with suppliers to achieve cost efficiency
- Track expenses and report variations to management
Quality & Safety Control
- Ensure stand quality matches approved drawings and client expectations
- Conduct site inspections and quality checks
- Implement health & safety procedures on site
Client & Stakeholder Coordination
- Act as main production contact for clients and exhibition organizers
- Attend site meetings and coordination meetings
- Handle last-minute changes and resolve on-site issues professionally
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Interior Design, or related field
- 5–10 years of experience in exhibition production or event fit-out
- Strong knowledge of materials, joinery, lighting, graphics, and AV
- Experience working with exhibition venues (DWTC, ADNEC, Expo, etc.)
- Excellent project management and multitasking skills
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and high-pressure environments
Preferred Skills
- UAE/GCC exhibition experience
- Knowledge of AutoCAD drawings
- Strong negotiation and vendor-management skills
- Valid UAE driving license
Work Environment
- Office & workshop coordination
- Extensive on-site presence during build-up and show days
- Willingness to work nights, weekends, and long hours during exhibitions
