Production Manager
Well-established fire protection contracting company in the Anaheim area has immediate opening for a full-time, Production Manager.
Position Overview & Expectations:
The Production Manager position is a fast-paced, highly important position that requires exceptional organizational skills, detailed communication skills, and ability to work with others in the residential construction industry. Must be able to prioritize multiple tasks and requests within their workday to meet deadlines.
The Production Manager must collaborate effectively with all team members, supervisors and other department managers to be sure tasks are completed on time and within budget.
Key Contributions:
· Contribute to the effectiveness of the company’s reputation by supervising the completion of tasks on time.
· Assure the production team maintains a professional working relationship with building/fire inspectors, and customers, including scheduling, service needs, etc.
· Oversee scheduling and coordination to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
· Provide support to team members when required.
· Quality & Safety Management: Enforce site safety regulations (OSHA) and conduct quality control, including inspections and final punch lists.
· Ensure production team is communicating with customers utilizing verbal and written communication, correspondences, reports and follow up at all times.
· Research, prioritize and resolve customer issues in timely and accurate fashion.
· Track and follow-up all customer requests in a timely manner.
· Manage large volume of customer calls in friendly and courtesy manner with outstanding customer service.
· Production Scheduling & Workflow: Develop, manage, and adjust construction schedules to meet deadlines. Coordinate all activities between the sales team, subcontractors, and field crew.
· Resource & Material Management: Ensure labor and materials are ready for job needs.
Required Qualifications:
· Experience: Generally 5+ years of hands-on experience in construction or project management.
· Knowledge: Ability to read blueprints/plans, and understand building codes and safety regulations.
· Skills: Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and scheduling abilities.
· Familiarity of electronic devices and knowledge with the following software: Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
· Dependable and reliable with a strong work ethic; maintains confidentiality and high ethical standards.
· Bilingual in English & Spanish is a plus.
Compensation, Benefits & Hours:
· Annual Salary $90K to 115K, depending on level of experience.
· Full benefits- Including paid vacation, paid holidays, paid sick, performance bonuses, 401k, medical & dental.
Hours of operations are from 7am – 4:30pm Monday thru Friday.
