About Us

iDesign Granite is a growing Granite & Quartz Countertop company located in Fredericksburg, Virginia. We specialize in high-quality granite and quartz countertop fabrication and installation. We are seeking an experienced Fabrication Manager to lead and oversee our fabrication shop operations.

Position Overview

The Fabrication Manager will oversee daily fabrication shop operations, manage CNC production processes, and ensure the highest standards of quality, efficiency, and safety. This is a hands-on leadership role that requires strong technical knowledge, organization, and the ability to lead a team in a fast-paced production environment.

This position requires availability for overtime work (paid at overtime rate) and occasional Saturday work as needed to meet production schedules.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations of the fabrication shop
• Operate and oversee CNC machines and fabrication equipment
• Supervise fabrication team members
• Ensure quality control of all fabricated countertops
• Develop and implement improvements to increase efficiency and productivity
• Maintain production schedules and workflow
• Enforce shop safety standards
• Coordinate with office staff regarding production timelines

Qualifications & Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in granite/quartz fabrication (lead role preferred)
• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with CNC machines
• Experience managing or leading a fabrication team preferred
• Physically fit and able to lift heavy materials as required
• Valid VA or MD driver’s license with good driving record
• Ability to speak and understand English
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Willingness to work overtime (with overtime pay) and some Saturdays as required
