- Plan, organize, and supervise daily production activities to meet sales orders, targets, and deadlines while maintaining quality standards and minimizing waste.
- Develop and implement production schedules, resource allocation, and inventory management in coordination with sales order makers and regional sales managers (RSMs) to ensure timely fulfillment and prevent escalations.
- Lead a team of production staff, mechanics, and supervisors, providing training, performance evaluations, and fostering a safety-first culture compliant with OSHA-equivalent standards in Pakistan.
- Monitor production metrics (e.g., efficiency, yield, downtime) using tools like ERP systems; analyze data to identify bottlenecks and implement continuous improvement initiatives (e.g., Kaizen, Six Sigma).
- Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field; Master’s degree or PMP certification is preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in production management, ideally in [relevant industry, e.g., manufacturing or heavy industry], with proven track record in scaling operations.
- Strong knowledge of production methodologies (e.g., Lean, TPM, Just-in-Time) and familiarity with Pakistan’s industrial regulations (e.g., labor laws, environmental standards).
- Proficiency in production software (e.g., ERP like SAP, MES systems) and Microsoft Office; experience with data analytics tools is a plus.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills to motivate teams and collaborate cross-functionally with sales, finance, and quality assurance.
