Production Manager- Carpentry and Joinery

Marmi Engineering Co. is seeking a skilled Production In Charge - Carpentry & Joinery to oversee the manufacturing and execution of high-quality woodwork and joinery projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in wood production, an eye for detail, and strong leadership skills to manage a team efficiently while ensuring project deadlines and quality standards are met.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily production activities in the carpentry and joinery workshop, ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety.
• Plan, schedule, and monitor production workflows to meet project deadlines and client specifications.
• Supervise and coordinate the work of carpenters, machine operators, and laborers to ensure smooth operations.
• Ensure the proper use and maintenance of carpentry machinery, tools, and equipment.
• Optimize production processes to improve efficiency and reduce material wastage.
• Read and interpret drawings, designs, and technical documents to ensure precise execution.
• Conduct quality control inspections to ensure all work meets company and industry standards.
• Manage procurement of raw materials, ensuring stock levels are maintained without delays in production.
• Enforce health and safety regulations within the production facility to create a safe working environment.
• Train and mentor workshop staff, enhancing their skills and performance.
• Liaise with project managers, site supervisors, and clients to coordinate production schedules and deliveries.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Minimum 7+ years of experience in carpentry & joinery production, preferably in fit-out and construction projects.
• Degree/Diploma in Arch. , Engineering, or related field is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of wood materials, joinery techniques, CNC machinery, and finishing processes.
• Experience in AutoCAD, woodworking machinery, and production planning software is an advantage.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to supervise, train, and manage production teams effectively.
• Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and implement efficient problem-solving strategies.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills to liaise with multiple stakeholders.
