Production Manager - Commercial Landscape Maintenance

Production Manager - Commercial Landscape Maintenance

About the Role

Ascape Landscape & Construction Corp. is looking for a hands-on Production Manager to lead daily commercial landscape maintenance operations. This role is responsible for making sure crews are organized, prepared, productive, safe, and completing quality work across our client properties.

This is a field-focused leadership position, not a desk-only management role. The right candidate will be visible with crews, comfortable managing schedules and labor hours, and able to hold teams accountable while keeping the day moving.

What You Will Do

  • Plan and manage daily crew schedules, routes, and field assignments.
  • Lead, coach, and hold foremen and field teams accountable for quality, safety, and productivity.
  • Make sure crews leave the yard prepared with the right labor, equipment, tools, materials, and job information.
  • Oversee commercial landscape maintenance work including mowing, trimming, blowing, edging, pruning, bed care, cleanups, and seasonal work.
  • Inspect job sites, identify service misses, and follow up on corrections before they become client issues.
  • Track labor hours, production progress, route efficiency, and daily field challenges.
  • Coordinate equipment readiness and communicate repair or downtime issues quickly.
  • Work closely with Account Managers and leadership to ensure client expectations are met.
  • Support snow operations during the winter season as needed.

What We Are Looking For

  • 3+ years of landscape maintenance, grounds management, or field operations leadership experience.
  • Experience managing crews, foremen, routes, schedules, and daily production.
  • Strong understanding of commercial landscape maintenance standards.
  • Ability to lead from the field and communicate clearly with crews and managers.
  • Comfortable using a phone, tablet, photos, apps, and basic reporting tools.
  • Able to manage labor hours, adjust schedules, and solve problems quickly.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Comfortable working Monday-Saturday during the active landscape season.

Preferred Experience

  • Bilingual English/Spanish communication skills.
  • Snow and ice management experience.
  • Experience with commercial properties, HOAs, senior living communities, office parks, industrial sites, or multi-site portfolios.
  • Knowledge of pruning, turf care, seasonal color, enhancements, and basic plant material.
  • Experience using landscape management software, CRM systems, or platforms such as Monday.com.

The Right Fit

We are looking for someone who is organized, dependable, direct, comfortable with early starts, and able to lead from the field. The best fit is firm but fair, respected by crews, focused on quality and efficiency, and interested in helping build a stronger operation.

Why Join Ascape?

This is an opportunity to step into an important leadership role with a growing commercial landscape, snow, and irrigation company. Ascape has a strong client base, long-standing relationships, and a clear focus on improving structure, accountability, field execution, and future growth.
