Production Manager Door Manufacturing

Your duties and responsibilities will include:

• Oversee day-to-day production of fire-rated and non-fire-rated steel doors
• Ensure compliance with international standards, fire-rating certifications, and client specifications
• Plan, implement, and monitor production schedules to achieve on-time delivery
• Drive process improvements, resource optimization, and waste reduction
• Lead, mentor, and develop the production team to maintain high performance
• Enforce quality control systems and corrective action plans
• Ensure strict compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations
• Collaborate with design, engineering, procurement, and sales to align production with customer requirements
• Track, analyze, and report production KPIs, costs, and efficiency metrics
• Oversee machine park maintenance and coordinate with suppliers to ensure equipment reliability and uptime
• Plan and manage the workforce distribution across workstations to maximize efficiency and output
• Provide ongoing training and skill development to the production workforce to strengthen capabilities and performance

To be successful in this role, you should have the following skills and experiences:

• Bachelor s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering preferred
• Proven track record as a Production Manager in steel door manufacturing (fire-rated & non-fire-rated essential)
• Strong knowledge of fire-rating standards, quality systems, and manufacturing processes
• Experience with lean manufacturing, process optimization, and cost control
• Excellent leadership and team management skills
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
• Effective communicator with strong reporting and cross-functional collaboration skills
