Production Manager – Label Division

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Manager for our Label Division to oversee daily manufacturing operations, ensure timely delivery, and maintain the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate will lead a team of operators and supervisors, optimize production efficiency, and coordinate with other departments to meet client expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, organize, and manage label production activities to ensure timely and cost-effective output.
• Monitor daily production schedules, resources, and material requirements.
• Ensure strict adherence to quality standards, safety protocols, and regulatory compliance.
• Oversee the maintenance and efficient operation of label printing machinery (Flexo, Digital, etc.).
• Implement process improvements to increase productivity and reduce wastage.
• Train, mentor, and evaluate production staff to maintain high performance levels.
• Coordinate with sales, design, procurement, and logistics teams for smooth operations.
• Maintain accurate production reports and inventory records.
• Handle troubleshooting and problem-solving during production challenges.
• Ensure continuous supply of raw materials while controlling operational costs.

Requirements

Education:

Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering, Printing Technology, or a related field (Master’s preferred).

Experience:

• Minimum 5–10 years of experience in production management within the label printing/packaging industry.
• Strong knowledge of Flexographic and/or Digital Label Printing Machines.
• Proven track record in managing high-volume production with tight deadlines.

• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• In-depth understanding of quality control and lean manufacturing principles.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet production targets.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
• Proficient in MS Office and production management software.
