Davis Pharmaceutical Laboratories is a leading pharmaceutical organization committed to delivering high-quality, safe, and effective healthcare products. We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Production Manager to lead our production operations and ensure adherence to GMP standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, organize, and oversee daily production activities to achieve targeted output and quality standards.
- Ensure compliance with cGMP, SOPs, and regulatory requirements.
- Manage production schedules, optimize resources, and minimize downtime.
- Coordinate with Quality Assurance, Engineering, and Supply Chain departments for smooth operations.
- Lead and train production staff, ensuring adherence to safety and operational protocols.
- Monitor and improve production efficiency through continuous process improvement.
- Drive production operations to consistently meet targeted unit production volumes on a monthly basis, ensuring timelines and deadlines are strictly adhered to.
- Monitor production KPIs (efficiency, yield, wastage, downtime) and implement corrective and preventive actions for continuous improvement.
- Manage manpower planning, shift scheduling, and workforce allocation to ensure smooth round-the-clock production operations.
- Demonstrated experience in preparing for and successfully facing inspections by DRAP and other regulatory institutions, ensuring full compliance with applicable guidelines and standards.
- Prepare and maintain relevant documentation, reports, and records as per regulatory standards.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Pharmacy / Chemistry
- 7+ years of relevant experience in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment, with at least +5years in a managerial/supervisory role.
- Strong understanding of GMP, regulatory compliance, and production processes.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proven track record of achieving production targets under tight deadlines while maintaining compliance and quality.
