Safety leadership: set expectations, reinforce behaviors, and ensure compliance

Daily execution: coordinate people, equipment, and materials to hit plan

Training: verify competency in safety, quality, equipment operation, and 5S

Continuous improvement: inspire ideas, eliminate waste, and reduce risk

Culture: model respectful communication and servant leadership

Technical collaboration: partner with engineering/technical teams for support

Goal setting: establish annual objectives tied to operating metrics

Inventory discipline: lower WIP and optimize processes

Employee relations: act as the first point of contact for workplace issues

Labor partnership: interface with union stewards on contract/discipline

Servant-leader mindset with proven ability to coach and supervise teams

1–3 years in medium/high-volume manufacturing with strong safety focus (preferred)

Prior manufacturing supervisory experience (preferred)

Bachelor’s in Business, Manufacturing Engineering, or Operations (preferred)

Internship/co-op or equivalent relevant experience considered

Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel proficiency

Strong problem-solving aptitude; fosters proactive, solution-oriented thinking

Understanding of process control, production scheduling, Kaizen, Kanban, and Lean (preferred)

Stooping, bending, extended standing, manual dexterity, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs without assistance

2nd shift: Monday–Thursday, 3:00 p.m.–1:00 a.m.

Occasional overtime: Friday, 1:00 p.m.–9:00 p.m.
