Production Planning Associate Analyst

Overview:

In this role as a Production Planning Associate Analyst, you will own the end-to-end finished goods supply plan for assigned manufacturing sites, ensuring product availability and stable service to the markets.


You will translate mid- and short-term capacity inputs into a clear, actionable production plan within a 0–16 week horizon. Additionally, you will play a key role in inventory management, network alignment, and monthly Supply Planning cycles (S&OP), working closely with cross-functional teams across the region.

Responsibilities:

What You Will Do

Supply & Long-Term Planning Support

  • Build and maintain weekly and daily production plans within a 0–16 week horizon.

  • Translate rough-cut capacity plans into constrained, executable production schedules.

  • Support the development of optimized cross-site supply plans aligned with service and inventory targets.

  • Review detailed line scheduling plans to ensure feasibility and execution readiness.

Network & Inventory Management

  • Monitor inventory levels and manage risks such as shortages, overstocks, and waste.

  • Develop inventory and waste projections in collaboration with market teams.

  • Track key service metrics and identify performance gaps (“worst performers”).

  • Analyze root causes and support action plans to improve service and reduce variability.

S&OP / Supply Management Review (SMR)

  • Support the preparation of Supply Planning inputs for monthly S&OP cycles.

  • Ensure data readiness and accuracy across planning systems (e.g., production rates, forecasts).

  • Perform cycle-over-cycle analysis to identify key changes and risks.

  • Prepare planning scenarios, insights, and materials for SMR discussions.

Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Act as a key link between Market teams and GBS.

  • Collaborate with production, logistics, procurement, and planning teams to resolve constraints.

  • Communicate supply plan updates, risks, and changes clearly to stakeholders.

Qualifications:

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.
  • Fluent in English - collaborative, open communicator, and comfortable working with teams from different cultures.
  • 2–3 years of experience in Production Planning, Supply Planning, Materials Planning, or a similar role.
  • Proficiency in Excel (intermediate level - formulas, analysis, pivot tables).
  • ERP System Knowledge (SAP, Oracle, IBP or related)
  • Understanding of planning fundamentals such as capacity planning, inventory management, materials or related.
  • Able to stay organized, adapt to changes, and manage competing priorities.
