Production Planning Engineer

We’re Hiring – Engineer (PPC)

Location: Whitefield, Bangalore
Industry: Electric Bike Component Manufacturing

Experience: 4 – 6 years
Qualification: B.E in Electrical / Electronics or Equivalent

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and schedule production activities; manage open production orders.
• Coordinate with Production and Quality teams to meet daily output plans.
• Ensure optimal utilization of manufacturing resources.
• Analyze risks before production and take preventive actions.
• Check material availability and coordinate with Purchase for timely supply.
• Analyze shift-wise productivity and losses, and drive improvements with CFT teams.
• Monitor inventory levels and manage WIP stock replenishment.
• Maintain production records, analyze inventory in SAP B1 and MES.
• Conduct production order analysis and monthly order closures.
• Coordinate with Dispatch for on-time deliveries.
• Manage RM replenishment and rejection follow-up with Quality, Production & Stores.
• Maintain minimum finished goods inventory as safety stock.
• Achieve departmental KPIs aligned with organizational goals.

Skills Required:

• Technical: Production Planning, Scheduling, Inventory Control, Risk Mitigation, ECN, MTS/MTO
• Software: SAP MM/PP, SAP B1, MS Excel, PowerPoint
• Documentation: ISO & IATF standards
