Production Planning Engineer

AKSA, a company of Akkök Holding, was founded in 1968 in Yalova. Becoming the world’s largest producer of acrylic fiber over the years, Aksa today serves approximately 300 customers in over 50 countries across 5 continents. Having a capacity of 350.000 tons per year, Aksa supplies raw materials for textiles and technical textiles in many diverse areas.

We are looking for an experienced Production Planning Engineer to join one of the world’s largest acrylic fiber manufacturing organization.

Qualities We Are Looking For;

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering

• Hands-on experience in production planning, scheduling or capacity planning

• Good knowledge of Excel (formulas, data analysis; VBA is a plus),

• Experience with SAP PP or similar ERP systems is preferred,

• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills,

• Effective communication and teamwork abilities,

• Results-oriented and able to take initiative,

• Focused on process improvement and efficiency,

• Good command of English.

Your main tasks are;

• Support and manage master production scheduling and detailed scheduling processes,

• Perform capacity planning and monitor production constraints,

• Analyze production data and contribute to actions that improve efficiency,

• Collaborate with sales, supply chain, quality, and manufacturing teams to support production targets,

• Maintain and update planning parameters in SAP/ERP systems,

• Track key KPIs (schedule adherence, inventory turnover, etc.) and prepare reports,

• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives,

• Support inventory optimization for raw materials, semi-finished and finished goods.
