Luna – which became a part of Landis+Gyr effective by 2022 - is the leading provider of smart metering devices for electricity, water and heat and associated software solutions for Turkey with headquarter located in Cigli - Izmir. As of today, Luna is the giving service to local and international customers with more than 600 employees within two facilities and improving its products by R&D Center located in Izmir.

We are looking for a dynamic and driven Production Process Engineer to join our team in Çiğli/Izmir . In this role, you’ll play a key part in improving and sustaining manufacturing processes, ensuring product quality, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the production line.

What You'll Do:

• Plan, implement, and continuously improve manufacturing processes
• Carry out efficiency-enhancing activities (Kaizen, 5S, TPM, etc.)
• Identify and analyze bottlenecks in production and propose effective solutions
• Optimize machine, equipment, and production line layouts for efficiency
• Ensure compliance with quality management standards (e.g., ISO 9001, VDA 6.3)
• Actively participate in new product introduction processes (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, etc.)
• Organize prototype and trial production activities
• Analyze production data to support continuous improvement efforts
• Provide technical assistance to operators and maintenance teams
• Develop and maintain work instructions and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
• Define technical specifications for new equipment investments
• Monitor and ensure compliance with occupational health, safety, and environmental regulations
  
  

What We're Looking For:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Process Engineering, or a related field
• Proficient in MS Office and production software (SAP, ERP, AutoCAD, SolidWorks)
• Strong command of English (reading, writing, and speaking)
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in production and process improvement
• Hands-on experience with lean manufacturing and quality tools
• Work experience in a multinational environment
